Enter full-length fiction that shows a postive vision of a more sustainable society
The Green Stories Novel Prize has been relaunched with a revised deadline of 26 June to address the previous lack of submissions that met the criteria of providing reader engagement and green solutions.
Enter novels that use fiction to show positive green solutions, inspire green behaviour and raise awareness of the necessity of transformation towards a sustainable economy.
The winner will receive £1,000, and the runner-up prize is £500. There are further prizes of reduced-price manuscript appraisal, mentoring and independent publishing support packages.
Novels should be original, unpublished, aimed at adult or YA readers and between 50,000 and 100,000 words, and may be complete or incomplete. Enter the first chapter, another chapter that showcases how the novel meets the green stories criteria, and a third chapter, plus a synopsis between 500 and 1,000 words.
Entry is free.
The closing date is 26 June.
