Mountaineering Scotland is inviting entries for its annual literary competition
The competition is for writing that has mountains and mountaineering as its theme. Entries may be prose or poetry, fiction or non-fiction.
There are poetry and prose categories, with the winner in each category getting £200 and second and third prize category winners getting £100 and £50. Winners will be published in Scottish Mountaineer.
Enter prose up to 2,000 words and poetry up to 200 words.
Entry is free. Each writer may enter once only.
The closing date is 31 August.
