Creative writing competition: Linen Press First Chapter Competition

Beginnings: Linen Press First Chapter Competition is for the best first chapter of an unpublished novel by a woman writer
Linen Press is a small independent publisher run by women for women. It publishes writing that promotes and celebrates new female voices.
The First Chapter competition is for the beginning of a complete, unpublished novel. Two winners will be selected and their chapters will be published on the website. The authors will be asked to send their complete novel for consideration by Linen Press. Three runners up will be offered a detailed critique by the Linen Press editorial team.
The closing date is 30 November.
