The international competition has a first prize of £500
The Grindstone Short Story Prize 2021 invites entries of original, unpublished short fiction in any genre for adult readers between 1,000 and 3,000 words.
There is a first prize of £500, a runner-up prize of £200, and four shortlist prizes of £50. The top twenty entries will appear in Grindstone's annual anthology.
The entry fee is £12.
