The prize is for longer prose fiction between 10,000 and 13,000 words
Between two and four winning stories will be published as part of Gatehouse Press' New Fictions series in 2016.
Gatehouse Press' New Fictions Prize is intended to encourage authors to explore the possibilities of length within the short fiction genre. Submissions should be by UK authors and consist of a single work of prose fiction between 10,000 and 13,000 words.
There is no fee for entry.
The closing date is 10 October.
