Creative writing competition: F(r)iction Spring 2021 Contests

There are prizes for short stories, flash fiction, poetry and creative non-fiction

US literary journal F(r)iction is inviting entries of new work, and encourages the submission of work that is experimental, non-traditional and boundary pushing.

Short story contest: Enter short fiction between 1,001 and 7,500 words. The prize is $1,000 and the winning entry will be considered for publication in the print issue of F(r)iction) or online. The judge is Stepehn Graham Jones. The entry fee is $15.

Flash fiction: Enter short fiction up to 1,000 words. The prize is $300 and the winning entry will be considered for publication. The judge is Damhnait Monaghan. The entry fee is $10 or $12 for three.

Poetry: Enter poems up to three pages long. The prize is $300 and the winner will be considered for publication. The judge is Emma Bolden. The entry fee is $10 for one and $12 for three.

Creative non-fiction: Enter work up to 6,000 words. The prize is $1,000 and the winner will be considered for publication. The judge is Hannah Grieco. The entry fee is $15.

The closing date is 29 April.
