Win a £500 first prize in the contest for the beginning of a novel manuscript plus synopsis
Submit the first 3,000 words of an unpublished novel manuscript in any genre, plus a synopsis no longer than 750 words. Novelists entering the competition may by unpublished, published or self published, but the manuscript must never have been published in any form.
The competition will be judged by Headline Publishing. The winner will receive £500 and there is a £200 prize for the runner up.
The entry fee is £10 for one novel, £18 for two, and £26 for three.
The closing date is 31 October.
