Win a £500 first prize in the competition for a first chapter and synopsis
The annual Flash 500 Novel Opening competition invites entries of unpublished work from published, unpublished and self-published novelists.
The first prize is £500 and there is a runner-up prize of £200.
To enter, send the first chapter (no longer than 3,000 words) of an unpublished novel manuscript, plus a one-page synopsis (max 750 words).
The entry fee is £10 for one novel entry, £18 for two, and £26 for three.
The closing date is 31 October 2021.
