Win a writing retreat, editorial feedback and mentoring in Myriad Editions' competition for unpublished writers
The First Drafts Competition is for writers who have not previously published a novel or a collection of short stories. The annual competition is part of Myriad's mission to find and nurture exciting new voices.
To enter, send the first 5,000 words of a work in progress, either a novel or short story collection, and a synopsis.
The prize is a week-long writing retreat at West Dean College near Chichester, detailed editorial feedback and six month's mentoring from a Myriad author.
The entry fee is £10 and the closing date is 30 June.
