Win a £2,000 first prize for a story up to 250 words
The Edinburgh Flash Fiction Awards are run by Scottish Arts Trust, which also runs the Scottish Arts Club Short Story Award.
The Flash Fiction Awards are in two categories.
• The Edinburgh Flash Fiction Award is an international competition for stories up to 250 words. The prizes are £2,000, £300 and £150.
• The Golden Hare Award for Scottish Flash Fiction is for all Flash Fiction Award entrants who are resident in Scotland. There is a prize of £500.
The chief judges are Zoë Strachan and Louise Welsh.

The entry fee is £7 per story.
The closing date is 31 August.
