The annual competition is inviting supernatural story entries
Now in its seventh year, the Christmas Ghost Story Competition from Scottish independent publisher Crowvus is inviting entries of original, unpublished short spooky fiction.
Winning stories will be published for Christmas, in the tradition of telling chilling tales as seasonal fireside entertainment. The winner will receive £100 and there are second and third prizes of £75 and £50.
Enter original, unpublished supernatural stories up to 4,000 words. Each author may enter up to two stories.
The entry fee is £3 per story or £5 for two.
The closing date is 30 September 2023.
