Win a £1,500 first prize for the opening chapters of an unpublished crime novel
The Crime: First Chapters competition from The Plaza Prizes is inviting entries of the opening chapters of crime thriller novels of any kind.
The first prize is £1,500, publication on the Plaza Prize website and a one-to-one tutorial and detailed feedback from judge Sam Blake. There are second and third prizes of £300 and £100.
To enter send the opening chapters of an original, unpublished crime novel, up to 5,000 words, plus a 300-word plot synopsis.
The entry fee is £20 for the first entry and £10 for any subsequent entries.
