Win $2,000 and publication in Craft online literary journal in the international short fiction contest

The judge for this year's competition is acclaimed American novelist and short story writer Jim Shepard. The top three stories will be published in Craft, accompanied by a craft essay by each author. The prizes are $2,000, $500 and $300.

Enter original, unpublished short fiction up to 6,000 words. As the journal's name suggests, Craft is particularly interested in stories that explore the craft of writing. International entries are welcome.

There is a $20 reading fee per story.

The closing date is 30 April.
