Green Stories Writing Competitions has launched a new short fiction contest for stories on the theme ‘clean vs green’

The aim of this targetted competition is to create an engaging story to help readers understand that overcleaning and misinformation about bacteria can be harmful to the body’s ‘good’ bacteria.

The winner will receive £500.

Stories may be between 1,000 and 3,000 words and should promote eco-friendly cleaning practices or address misinformation about bacteria and cleaning. Green Stories has provided story ideas to help writers as well as useful information to provide context for the competition.

Entry is free.

The closing date is 22 July.
