The $1,500 prize is for stories up to 8,000 words
Stories may be entered by writers who have not yet published a book of fiction, poetry or creative non-fiction with a nationally distributed press.
The winner will receive $1,500 and publication in Boulevard.
All entries for Boulevard's Short Fiction Contest for Emerging Writers must be original and unpublished. There is an entry fee of $15 per story.
The closing date is 31 December.
