Enter poetry and short fiction in the annual £5,000 international literary prize
Now in its 15th year, the annual Aesthetica Creative Writing Award invites entries of innovative new poetry and short fiction. Aesthetica is particularly interested in works that reflect on our ever-changing world.
The winner in each category will receive £2,500 and publication in the Aesthetica Creative Writing Annual. The poetry winner will receive full membership of the Poetry Society, a 12-month subscription to Litopia, a one-day course courtesty of the Poetry School and a five-day Arvon course. The short fiction winner will receive a consultation with Redhammer Management, a 12-month subscrption to Litopia, and a five-day Arvon course. 20 shortlisted fiction entries and 40 shortlisted poetry entries will be published in the Aesthetica Creative Writing Annual.
Enter short fiction up to 2,000 words and poems up to 40 lines. Works may have been previously published.
The entry fee is £12 for one poetry entry and £18 for one fiction entry.
The closing date is 31 August.
