The competition is to showcase the creative and comedic talents of young people between 11 and 18

The competition is inspired by author and comedian Louise Rennison, who died in 2016. There are two categories: comedic writing and comedic performance.

The comedic writing category is for up to 1,000 words, which may be a short story, a script, a screenplay, a book chapter or an article.

The comedic performance category is for up to three minutes of video.

Winners will receive comedic and creative writing experiences from Ink Jockey and Harper Collins books, with more prizes to be announced.

The competition is free to enter.
