The children's publishing house is accepting novel submissions on 25 January
'Everyone is a bit gloomy in January, so I thought it would be fun to open submissions to everyone,' Chicken House MD told The Bookseller.
On 25 January, unpublished authors can send submissions of five chapters and a pitch for a novel for children aged 8-12. Submissions should be sent by email.
The 2015 Times/Chicken House Children's Fiction Competition will open in spring.
