Stories between 5,000 and 30,000 words are invited for a new series of subscription ebooks

Dead Ink is a small, experimental literary press based in Liverpool and supported by Arts Council England.

Submissions are invited of New Horrors: 21st-century horror stories that reimagine the genre and reflect the way we live now. Stories may be between 5,000 and 30,000 words and must be original and unpublished.

Submitting authors may be new or established. Dead Ink particularly encourages submissions from individuals and communities who feel they may be marginalised or under-represented.

Accepted authors will be paid set-rate percentage royalties.

The closing date to submit to New Horrors is 1 July.
