• The short story prize is for stories created around a minor character in any of the seven Bronte novels
• The poetry competition is for poems based on unusual personal responses to any novel or poem by the Brontes
• The illustration competition is for black-and-white illustrations of specific scenes, as described in one of the Bronte novels
The closing date for the Bronte Society Creative Competition is 31 January. There is an entry fee of £10.
