Following  the story in the July issue of Writers' News about Amazon removing IPG ebooks from sale, Amazon and the IPG have reached an agreement

More than 4,000 ebooks by members of the US-based Independent Publishers Group were removed from Amazon's Kindle store after the IPG rejected the renewal of its contract with Amazon, stating that the proposed terms reduced already narrow margins.

A letter was sent to IPG clients on Friday, after Writing Magazine had gone to press, informing them of the deal and that their ebooks were being restored by Amazon to the Kindle store.

The terms of the agreement have not been disclosed.
