The winner really will be able to crack open the bubbly as part of the prize is a personalised bottle of Champagne

Any stories about holidays, time away and time off are welcomed, in any genre.

As well as the Champagne, the winner of Writestars' latest competition for writers will receive £100 and a critique of their work.

The entry fee is £3.50 per story. Writestars supports literacy charity Children in Crisis, and £1 of every entry goes to the charity.

The closing date is 30 April.
