Yet another benefit of hybrid publishing is the speed to market. Traditional publishing can be a lengthy process, with books often taking eighteen months to two years from acceptance to publication. Hybrid publishers typically operate on a much faster timeline, bringing a book to market in as little as four to six months, allowing authors to see their work in print much sooner.
Royalties are another area where hybrid publishing shines. While traditional publishers typically offer royalties of 8-15% on print books and 25% on e-books, hybrid publishers often offer much higher percentages. Some even allow authors to keep 100% of their royalties, a significant financial advantage for writers!
