Creative coffee break: Back to school

1dbe664d-c452-49ec-8e04-c73e2d9cb197

Can you remember your first day at school? Set your timer for five minutes. Jot down as much detail as you can – colours, sounds, smells. Did you eat lunch at school? What was it like? How did you feel?

What was your least favourite subject when you got older? Set your timer for five minutes. Free-write about your worst day at school.

For your remaining time create the beginning of a story set in a school building, supported by your own raw material. What if one of the corridors had a portal that led to a different world? Who discovered this? Have some fun with it!
