Coffee break exercise: Resolutions

Give your writing year a solid start by setting out your intentions in your first creative writing exercise of 2019

Writing resolutions can be made at any time, but resolutions are traditional at the beginning of the year. Sometimes it’s good to stop and take stock of where you are at the moment – and where you would like to be by the following year.

Set the timer for five minutes and create a plan or list.

For the remaining time, write a list of ten baby steps you can take towards your first goal. Resolve to take some action within seven days. Good luck!

While you're thinking about your writing hopes for 2019, take a look at What Makes a Good Writer and see how many of these skills you already possess!
