Think back to music lessons at school to get yourself in tune for a new piece of creative writing
Set the timer for five minutes and write about music lessons at school. What happened? Did you play an instrument? Did you dread music lessons because you hated singing? Did you ever play in a band or dream of doing so?
For the remaining time, create the first draft of a story that begins with a song or a piece of music. Let your imagination go wild – it could be a love story, ghost story, western, historical, horror or sci fi.
