Get wrapped up in this week's week's creative writing exercise

Set the timer for three minutes and list all the coats you can remember wearing.

Pick one of them. Set the timer for five minutes and do a ‘free write’ about it.

Use the remainder of the time to either craft this into a poem or 150 word flash fiction story. Alternatively, create the first few paragraphs of a longer story.

Wondering what style to write your coffee break exercise in? Take our fun quiz to find out which genre you should be writing!
