Put the focus on the watcher in this week's creative writing exercise.
Instead of thinking about what someone watching the world go by can see, think about who they are.
What has brought them to this moment? How do they view the world? How are they looking at what's in front of them - carefully, mindfully, watchfully? Are they immersing themselves in the scene, or scanning it for clues?
Write a character portrait of the watcher and how they see things.
