Coffee-break exercise: Vent

14 April 2023
Let someone get something of their chest in today’s creative writing exercise

Choose a person, and a point of view. It could be you, it could be a fictional character, it could be you the writer imagining what a real-life character might say, or have said.

Let that person have a rant. Let them get something off their chest. Find the words that let the person express something that is really bothering them. Let them express themself in full flow, without interruption.

Write it out. Take 10 minutes.
