Evoke the memories connected to a favourite treat from the past in this week's creative writing exercise
Choose a treat from your younger days - perhaps a chocolate bar that no longer exists, or a preferred brand of snack.
Free-think around the treat, remembering not just taste, but sounds, scents, colours, visual and any other sensory associations. Think about the feelings and memories. Write down everything that occurs.
Now write a passage or poem about your memories. It could be fiction or poetry, but why not try a piece of life-writing?
