Create a selection of possible outcomes in this week’s creative writing exercise
First, here’s a set-up:
Macy, who is a student, has been living above their means, and is now in the position of owing a lot of money that they have no way of paying back.
Now, on six slips of paper, write six possible outcomes for what happens to Macy. Do they resolve the problem, or not, and if so, what happens?
Fold the papers in quarters, close your eyes, and pick one.
Write the story including the outcome you’ve picked.
