May can be a verb, or a noun. Play with May in this week's creative writing exercise

To start, think of as many associations as possible with the word MAY. Some might be connected with the month - spring, pole, blossom, darling buds. But others could be connected with the modal verb used to express possibility, opportunity, permission and more? For example: I may go... may we leave...

Jot down some of your thoughts round the word MAY. 

For ten minutes, see how many creative phrases and sentences you can come up with that incorporate both the verb and the name of the month.
