Imagine the role this house might play in today's creative writing exercise
Firstly, decide who lives here, and a problem or issue that at least one of them is facing.
Next, think about how the house is a part of their story. What is its atmosphere? Is it a happy home? Are its inhabitants in any way trapped by the house? What has happened in it? What memories does it hold?
Now write a passage or poem describing the effect of the house on the person or people that live in it.
