This week's creative writing exercise involves creating a character faced with a choice that isn't easy
For the first five minutes, imagine the possibilities of a character faced with a hard choice. Who might that character be? What is the decision they have to make? Why is it hard? Why are they faced with this decision? What are the possibilities open to them? What would be the consequences of each possibility? Make notes of all the options that spring to mind.
For the next ten minutes, write in the first person from the viewpoint of the character faced with making the hard decision as they work out what to do.
