Write about the same emergency from the point of view of various people whose lives it touches in this week's exercise
For instance, you might write about a medical crisis from the point of view of the person affected, the person who calls for help, and the emergency responder. Or a crime incident might include a person involved in committing the crime, a witness at the scene, and a police investigator.
Decide what form your emergency takes, and who your POV characters will be, and start writing.
