Conjure the colours of autumn in this week's creative writing exercise

If possible, go for a walk in nature near to you and make notes of what you see. If not, remember a recent walk. Be specific, not general about the details. What kind of leaves? Precisely what shapes and shades? Can you name the trees, and plants? Identify colours, shapes, textures.

When you've completed your nature notes, shape your ideas on what you've seen into a new piece of writing, using the specific details you've noted.
