Think about what's going on in the background of a piece of creative writing in this week's exercise
In every piece of writing we do, each detail matters and can add something to your narrative.
Today, use a piece of writing you're working on, or start a new one. Think about what's going on in the background of your story. Who is there? What are the colours? Are there any objects? Is there something unspoken that everyone knows? What food do they eat? Is it hot, or cold? What does it smell of?
Create as full a picture as you can of what's going on in the background of your story or poem.
