Write around the theme of being alien or alientated in today's creative writing exercise
You can write something futuristic or science fiction if you like - or perhaps try your hand at it. But you don't have to! You can respond the how the image makes you feel, or how you think the creature in the tube might feel. Or you could explore what the words 'alien' or 'alientated' suggest to you, in any form, style or genre that suits you.
If you want to extend the exercise by embracing the strangeness, try to write in a style or form that seems alien to you, and observe yourself and how you respond to it.
